Truckers' Stand with a Message of Unity
A Nationwide Movement of Truckers Expresses Support Through Peaceful Action

A movement among truck drivers, showing solidarity with ex-President Donald Trump, is emerging in response to a significant legal judgment against him. Following a decision in New York where Trump was fined over $350 million due to civil fraud charges, several truckers have voiced their intent not to deliver goods to New York City as a form of protest.
This action is a direct consequence of the legal findings by New York Attorney General Letitia James, which concluded after a trial starting in October, accusing Trump of asset inflation and fraudulent activities. The trial, presided over by Judge Arthur Engoron, resulted in Trump being prohibited from managing his businesses in New York for three years.

The call to action among truckers was notably spearheaded by "Chicago Ray," a self-proclaimed Trump supporter, through a series of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter). Ray's messages emphasized unity among truckers who share his sentiments, urging them to reject shipments destined for New York City as a stance against what they perceive as unjust treatment towards Trump.
The sentiment has resonated with many within the trucking community, as evidenced by supportive responses on social media, reflecting a broader dissatisfaction with the ruling. Additionally, efforts to financially support Trump in light of the judgment have also been initiated, with Elena Cardone, linked to real estate investor Grant Cardone, setting up a GoFundMe page to aid Trump's defense against the fine. The fundraiser has already attracted significant contributions, showcasing a wave of support for Trump against what his backers see as a politically motivated legal challenge.
